according to the answers we have received from Kevin and CD, you can switch position within reasonable limits. (for example, a CB playing NT probably won't work).
Yep, exactly. It's kind of a common sense thing and we make it intentionally subjective. Tackles can probably move in to play guard easier than guards can move out to play tackle. Same with cornerbacks and safeties. We've built appropriate adjustments into the game model.
We also prohibit position changes where you'd be better off signing a street free agent. So with apologies to DK Metcalf, you can't move a wide receiver in to play defensive tackle.
