As there are no rookies in the initial draft are we a. playing out the 2022 schedule and then drafting? Or b. are we drafting the rookies after the initial draft and then playing based on 2023?
If a., gonna be a very tight schedule to get us caught up. If b. I hope it’s in the opposite order of the initial draft.
Would love an idea of the schedule.
Rookie draft immediately follows initial draft. I will check the order when I get home tonight, along with a tentative schedule.

Rookie draft for 2023. The 2022 rookies are in our initial draft pool currently.
Since the initial draft is a snake draft and thus fairly balanced as far as draft position and the rookie draft has each team picking in the same position each round, i'm hoping the rookie draft order is randomized.Originally Posted by JohnMeynardie

Yeah now I'm confused. I was under the impression we were playing through the '22 season. That wouldn't make sense with a '23 draft
Original plan was we do 2022 season then 2023 rookie draft then 2023 season so that we have something to keep everyone engaged with sandbox during the downtime.
Yeah, when I posted earlier I was at work and didn't think things through.
Now: Draft all players who played in 2022
Around November 1: short free agency period that would last around 2 weeks.
Around November 15: make lineups and game planning
Around November 20: Start simulations, 3 per week, based on 2022 NFL season
Around January 10: 2022 Simulation season ends, start 2023 rookie draft
Around January 20: Accelerated free agency
Around February 15: should be caught up with other leagues
