I just advanced it to week 5. It is supposed to advance automatically, but there is some kind of bug in the chron job.

How can you tell the Tier the player is in? I don't see that on the auction screen?

Lewdog, there is a line right above where your salary points are that describes what positions are in each tier, in the free agency window.
