Resigned free agent?

I just matched the salary of a free agent that signed with another team. Why is it still looking like he is unsigned and going to the other team?

You should have received an email correspondence telling you how much you need to pay. Look in your spam filter if you don't see it in your email. If you don't have "email notification"" turned on on your game preference page, turn it on. You are supposed to go one year higher than what the other coach offered, though the computer forced me to go two years higher on the player situation that I had. Still awaiting an explanation from CDCOX on that.
