Signing veterans from the veteran draft

What is the longest contract that can be offered? 7 years? 4 years (shaded gray)?

You only pick the length for them and sign all at once. So you will find out then

you did not answer my question...there are grayed out areas the go to 4 years and also there are seven year contracts. Which ones (or are both) are available for the initial veteran draft?

In the initial talent acquisition draft and in rookie drafts you can sign contacts from 1-7 years. In free agency auctions, the contracts can be from 1-7 years and are dependent on the amount of the winning bid. For signing selected veterans (up to 2 per year) the contract lengths must be 5-7 years.
