    Veteran Draft Salary

After we hold the veteran draft does the cost to sign the veterans work like the rookie draft and is based on what round they were drafted or is it based on the standard veteran tier pricing?

Immediately after the veteran draft you can sign veterans to contracts. The longer the contract and the more important their position, the greater number of salary points required.

In later seasons, veterans are signed to contracts via free agency bidding. Bidding is on an open market. After the auction, the length of the contract is determined based on the $ bid.

Do you need to sign all veterans that you are given before you draft, or can you release the ones you don't want and sign other veterans that you prefer after the veteran draft is completed (new leagues of course).

There are two options for players you don’t want after the veteran draft: 1) release them or 2 sign them to a 1year contract (it does not cost salary points).

there is a free agent period after the veteran draft...yes? Also....21/24 teams are filled in the league I am waiting on. Will we be playing with 2021 or 2020 stats? If I read correctly, there will be no rookie draft if we are using 2021 stats.....true?

Yes, there will be a short (2-4 week) free agency period before simulations. Simulations will occur with 2021 stats. The first rookie draft for your league will happen during the summer of 2022 based on the 2022 NFL draft.
