when free agent start is there a difference in if you bid on a rookie free agent then a veteran free agent when it come to there contract cost. because when the draft is done in the nfl teams get to sign rookie free agent to a contract at a lower cost so if we bid on a rookie free agent is there a difference when we sign them just thought i would ask.

If they're in the free agent pool, they're all equal. The high bidder gets them at whatever they had to pay.
