Player Availability Question

I have Terron Armstead, and in real life he missed games 16 and 17, but his team made the playoffs and he played the first week of the playoffs (after which the Dolphins were eliminated). I know that the availability screen states that game 18-20 playoff availability for injured players is based off a probability algorithm or something along those lines, but since this player's team actually went to the playoffs and we know he was available and played the whole game would you manually make the player available for weeks 18-20 in the game now that's brought to your attention, or would you just prefer to roll with what the algorithm came up with since the player was injured in game 17 in real life?
