The tiebreaker is net points. If these are tied it is a coin flip.
I have coded the NFL-style tiebreakers for another project. They are really complicated and don’t reliably select the “true” stronger team. So in Sandbox we use this simpler tiebreaker.
I want to go on record as that is a horrible decision. These are not balanced schedules, net points is a terrible tie breaker.
Points differential is as good/fair of a tiebreaker as any. The exception being playing a one game tiebreaker challenge type game mid-week, such as Wednesday or Thursday game so the playoff field, seeds, and schedule would be set in time for Sunday Wild Card games.
Most fantasy leagues are points.
