what happens in a veteran draft (or rookie draft for that matter) when you have chosen no one on your draft board and your time to draft expires? Does the computer just pick a player for the team? How does it decide what position you need?

My understanding is once your time expires the program takes the next best player...I do not know the criteria used for it to select the next best though.

We have an algorithm that drafts the best player for them based on a combination of positional value and roster need.
