if a player is on a nfl team and is on the inactive list but on the practice team and dose not play in any game in the season can they be use in the game. it would be like a backup on the team that never get in the game. they are part of the team but never get a change to play.

Maybe cdcox can confirm this, but I think we only have players who show up on the active roster at least once. If they were inactive and on the practice squad all year, I don't think you can put them on the team. If they showed up at least once on game day, you'll get them, but of course their performance may not be superb. (Of course, you might draft or sign a guy like this as a developmental guy if you think he's got good upside next year, so maybe you don't care.)
